The center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends everyone 6 months of age and older get vaccinated against influenza each year as soon as the vaccine is available in early fall. The CDC encourages vaccination against the flu each year because immunity can wane over time. Getting vaccinated early will ensure your child is protected throughout the influenza season.
